The spaceWelcome to our newly remodeled ski retreat in Mammoth Lakes! Located in the Chateau D'oex complex on the private Hidden Valley loop, this three-bedroom, three-bathroom condominium offers a fantastic location and modern amenities.
With its great location, you'll have easy access to the Village at Mammoth and the gondola, allowing you to enjoy the shops, restaurants, and exciting activities in the area. The condo is situated on a quiet private residential golf course frontage road, ensuring a peaceful environment for your stay.
Inside the condo, you'll find a modern kitchen with high-end appliances, quartz counters & eat in bar. Perfect for preparing delicious meals. The dining room and living room combine to create a spacious and inviting great room where everyone can gather together. The living room features a 60-inch wall-mounted LCD flat-screen TV with home theater sound, perfect for cozy movie nights by the wood-burning fireplace. Each bedroom is equipped with a TV, and the master bedroom even has a 60-inch wall-mounted LCD TV with a DVD player.
For your convenience, the condo offers lockbox entry, eliminating the need for key pickups or drop-offs. You can easily access the condo upon arrival and start enjoying your vacation right away.
Sleeping up to 8 people with privacy (or 10 if you include the queen sleeper sofa in the living room), the condo offers two bedrooms downstairs. The first bedroom features a comfortable king-size bed, while the second bedroom has two queen beds. The upstairs bedroom is equipped with a double over double bunk bed and a private rainfall shower bathroom. Each bedroom includes a TV, and the condo is decorated in a charming mountain cabin style.
During winter, you can enjoy the warmth of the wood-burning fireplace in the family room, which can heat the entire condo. Firewood is provided and stored on the balcony. Additionally, each room has electric radiant heaters for added comfort. Please note that the condo does not have forced air heating.
Outside the condo, you'll find convenient amenities such as a heated spa and sauna right outside the front door, perfect for relaxing after a day of skiing or exploring. There's also an outdoor stainless gas barbecue on the balcony for cooking delicious meals. Other amenities include an interior washer and dryer, wireless high-speed internet, and close front-of-unit parking.
If you have an RV, boat trailer, or other oversized vehicle, we have a large private spot available, although it is not accessible during the winter months.
During the summer and fall, there are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy. You can experience world-class lake and river fishing, play golf at the nearby scenic mountain golf courses, go horseback riding, or take a walk to Mammoth Creek to enjoy scenic views. There are also miles of scenic trails for hiking, mountain biking, and exploring. Nearby attractions include Mammoth Hot Springs, Yosemite National Park (a 40-minute drive away), Rainbow Falls, Devils Postpile, and John Muir Wilderness Park. The eastern Sierra offers breathtaking fall colors, adding to the beauty of the surroundings.
In the winter, Mammoth Lakes truly shines as a premier skiing and snowboarding destination. You can hit the slopes at Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort, go ice skating, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, or enjoy sledding and other winter activities.
To ensure your desired winter dates, we recommend booking your winter vacations early. There are direct flights to Mammoth Airport from Los Angeles (LAX), Reno, San Francisco, San Diego, John Wayne (Orange County), and San Jose through Alaska Airlines/Horizon Air, with 1-stop service to Seattle and Portland. Check the Alaska and/or United Airlines websites for more information. Early booking discounts are available.
PARKING- We have 1 assigned spot in front of the condo & are allowed 1 spot in the guest parking area for a total of 2 vehicles during the winter

We have 1 designed parking space & 2 guest parking spaces. Our HOA rules allow for a max of 1 car per bedroom, 3 max.
If you would like an early check in or late check out the cost is $100 for a noon check and/or $100 for a 3:00 pm check out when available. Early check in & late check out requests require 48 hour notice & approval from management. Last minute early check in or late check out requests are not possible due to cleaning schedules.

Getting aroundOur condo is just a 10-15 minute walk from the Village at Mammoth with Gondola access from there to Canyon Lodge. Mammoth Lakes also provides free shuttle transportation around the entire town including all three lodges at Mammoth Mountain.
